Winetherapy, the Perfect Preparation for Vinitaly!

Vinitaly is just around the corner…

So how does one gear up for five days of sipping and spitting? Eating and greeting? To say wining and dining is an understatement…

Fast? Feast?

I have a ritual, and it includes bathing in thermal waters to detox my entire system, tired of the winter, craving the spring and the sun…

This time my beauty package is called the Bacchus Intensive Winetherapy (no, I am not making this up!) and I won’t be just drinking the stuff, I’ll be bathing in it.  Yep, that’s right! I’ll even have a massage and a facial with what’s left of the grape, after it’s devoted its heart and soul to delighting our palates (a couple of years from  now)…

I’ll be in Bagno Vignoni, Val d’Orcia – Brunello country, honey!

Keep an eye out for posts on my weekend of benessere…
